Our Story
Hi we are Matt and Liz. Welcome to 1776 Woodworks! We started our business as a way for Matt to do some physical therapy after he had a stroke in 2025. Matt has been working with wood since childhood so he loves being able to come up with new things to build. Liz loves anything personalized and is especially fond of the Snarky Signs. After realizing that people loved our designs we took the next step.
Our Mission
Driven by a passion for sustainability and craftsmanship, we aim to create eco-friendly, personalized handmade wooden pieces that provide joy while preserving the environment. Over 50% of our wood is reclaimed, saved from trash piles or recycled from other projects.
